Job Summary:
This position is accountable for operating production machines to produce parts in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
Reports To: Lathe Supervisor
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
GD&T knowledge and blueprint reading
Versed in Mazatrol language
Ability to sit, stand, twist, bend and walk for long periods and lifting up to 35 lbs.
Job Responsibilities:
Load, unload and deburr parts
Inspect finished parts and compare them with the requirements of the blueprint
Develop robust manufacturing processes
Create work holding and select cutting tools
Meet production goals in terms of quality, quantity and cycle time
Train Co-workers
Follow ISO standards and practice Lean 6S manufacturing principles
Use of proper PPE at all times
Preferred Skills:
Mechanical aptitude
Basic math skills
Blueprint reading
Hours: Monday-Thursday 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Friday 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
