Job Title: Metal Fabricator
Job Summary: This position is accountable for preparing, fabricating and welding various metal parts from a blueprint description using a variety of tools and machines.
Requirements:
- A minimum of one year’s experience
- Ability to sit, stand or walk for long periods and lifting up to 35 lbs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare blanks for machining by grinding and straightening them using a hand or belt sander
- Weld pads to the bottom of blanks using the robotic welder
- Deburr finished parts
- Follow ISO standards and practice Lean 6S manufacturing principles
- Use of proper PPE at all times
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret blue prints
- Welding experience or certificate
- Lean manufacturing knowledge
- Forklift training
Choose Your Hours:
Monday-Thursday 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Friday 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
or
Monday-Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
