Job Summary: This position is accountable for cutting materials to specified lengths.
Reports to:
Welding Supervisor
Ability to sit, stand, twist, bend and walk for long periods and lifting up to 35 lbs.
Requirements:
A minimum of one year’s experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Set up Saws, make blade changes and conduct maintenance to keep them running optimally
- Programming saw to make cuts
- Ensure material is to proper size by using measuring devices such as a tape measurer, calipers, a square and micrometers.
- Deliver material to proper location
- Claiming parts in MRP system
- Work as a back up to the receiving clerk
- Use Of bridge crane
- Use of proper PPE at all times
- Follow ISO standards and practice Lean 6S manufacturing principles
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with MRP systems
- Lean manufacturing knowledge
- Forklift training
Choose Your Hours:
Monday through Friday 7 am-3:30 pm
or
Monday-Thursday 6:00 am to 3:30 pm, Friday 6:00 am to 10:00 am.
