Job Title: Tool Crib Specialist/ Purchase Agent
Company Description: D.P. Tool & Machine, Inc. is a technologically advanced family- owned manufacturing company experienced with producing close tolerance CNC precision turned, machined, fabricated/welded components, electro-mechanical assemblies and fixtures servicing major corporations.
Job Summary: This position is responsible for purchasing materials, tooling and supplies for manufacturing as well as managing the inventory and distribution of tools within the shop to ensure availability for Engineering and Manufacturing.
Reports to: Director of Operations
Requirements:
- A minimum of three years’ experience in sourcing tooling.
- Mechanical ability to assemble/disassemble tooling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to use an ERP Business System.
- Knowledge of MS Office including excel, word and outlook.
- Ability to bend, sit, stand or walk for long periods and lifting- up to 35 lbs.
Job Responsibilities
- Sourcing/purchasing of tooling and materials from various vendors.
- Manage all functions of Cribmaster automated tooling cabinet and applications.
- Track the supply and use of equipment in the tool crib.
- Develop and implement procedures to improve tool crib organization and efficiency.
- Manage the check -out/in tooling process.
- Perform regular audits of tool inventory.

Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of presetting tooling a plus.
- Machinist
- Lean 6S

Monday-Thursday 6:00 am to 3:30 pm, Friday 6am to 10 am.
